Course Description
This basic 6 hour course offers an overview of a variety of life-saving techniques in the event of an injury or a medical emergency. This course is particularly suitable for those who would like to get some sound knowledge in first aid but do not have the time to follow a full BLS/AED course. This course provides a good alternative for companies who already have the legally required minimum number of First Aid trained personnel but would nevertheless like to increase the number of personnel with First Aid training. Parents and family members who may be faced with such needs will also benefit from this course.
Certification
On successful completion of this course, you will receive an Emergency First Aid Adult, Child and Infant certificate which is valid for three years. Hard copy of the certificate is included in the price.
What is included
- Training delivered by a qualified Nurse Instructor with experience in emergency setting;
- Course covers the physical, psychological, emotional, and legal aspect of patients and the emergency first responder;
- The use of disposable disinfection wipes between each participant. Wipes used covers tuberculocidal, viricidal, fungicidal and bactericidal;
- COVID-19 approach and management;
- Latest training equipment includes QCPR mannequins and latest models of AED trainer;
- Delivering training at Academy or one’s place of choice;
- Strict infection control measures;
- Surgical gloves during practice to each participant;
- For BLS/AED – the dummies’ lungs changed with every session and all manikins will be disinfected post lecture.
