Refunds

Courses that you apply with Malta First Aid are non-refundable. In the unfortunate event that you cannot attend the course for any reason, you have three months from the date of payment to attend another identical course. Refunds will only take place if Malta First Aid cancels the course.

Cancellations

A course can be cancelled due to one of the following situations:

• The course instructor is sick on the day of the course and no replacement can be found;
• The minimum number of participants is not reached within 1 month of when the course was booked;
• National regulations halt all courses (for example due to health and safety risks such as during the Covid-19 pandemic).

Notifications

You will be notified if a course is cancelled by email. Malta First Aid may also, in some instances, decide to call you to confirm that you received the email. In this case there are two options:

• You will be provided with alternate course dates to attend the same course on a different day;
• Get a refund for the full price of the course.

If you cannot attend any of the alternate dates, you have the right to request a refund up to 15 days (about 2 weeks) after alternate dates are provided. In this case, you need to request a refund by email to maltafirstaid@hotmail.com quoting your First and Last Name, ID Card Number, Course Name and Contact Number. Allow up to 6 days for the course fee to be refunded.
